Kanpur Chess Association to host 3 chess meets between July 7 to 9

The championships are to be organised for age groups of 14, 17 and 19 years, further divided into boys and girls categories.

Providing an exciting opportunity for young chess enthusiasts to showcase their skills and compete against other skilled players, 3 championships are scheduled to be organised between July 7-9.

The championships will be organized with the collaboration of Virendra Swarup Education Centre and the Kanpur Chess Association (KCA). Furthermore, the championship will be organized into different categories.

Top players will be selected for state level championships

Reportedly, the championships are to be organised for age groups of 14, 17 and 19 years, further divided into boys and girls categories.

The boys' championships are scheduled to take place on July 7 while the girls' category matches will be held on July 8. On the other, third championship will be for under 7 and 11 years players which will be held on July 9.

Subsequently, the top 4 contenders from each of the categories would be selected for state-level championship.
