Knocksense Shorts | Festival special train to ease travel between Pune & Kanpur

With the festive season underway, railway networks are witnessing a significant surge in passenger traffic. In response, the Central Railways (CR) has introduced a dedicated festive train to enhance interstate access between Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh.

The train, CNB Pune HSPL (no. 01038), running between Kanpur and Pune, commenced its journey today from Pune at 6:35 hrs and is slated to arrive in Kanpur tomorrow at 7:10 hrs. Its return journey will commence tomorrow at 8:50 hrs. Operating two trips in each direction, the next trips are scheduled for March 27 and 28.

To provide better connectivity between states, the train will make stops at several key stations en route, including Itarsi, Orai, Jhansi, and Ahmednagar.
