'Number Theory' seminar at IIT Kanpur organized to commemorate the 135th birth year of S Ramanujan

The Outreach auditorium in IIT Kanpur played host to the 'Number Theory' seminar held in the city between Feb 27 and Mar 1. The seminar, which saw leading experts from top global Universities showcase their research on number theory, was organized by C3i Hub in collaboration with Ministry of Culture and VIBHA, a mission that champions swadeshi sciences on all fronts.

The event brought together young researchers and leading experts

The international conference, which commemorated the 135th birth year of Srinivasa Ramanujan, brought together leading experts in relevant fields and young researchers and PhD students from across India. Hundreds of Students from Class 11 right up to BSc, belonging from more than 20 schools and colleges in and around Kanpur were present to witness experts talk about their research.

Professors from University of Toronto, University of Waterloo, Sorbonne University, IIT Bombay and other prestigious educational institutions delivered talks on topics such as the Landau Ramanujan constant, Galaois representation and fast multivariate multipoint evaluation at the event, which ended with a dinner for all participants on March 1.
