Prizes worth ₹7 lakh announced for IIT-K 'Hack and Reboot 2.0' Hackathon; Here's how to register

The application window for Hack and Reboot 2.0 will remain open till December 18, 2022.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur is back again with its national-level annual Hackathon, Hack and Reboot 2.0. Alongside rolling out the schedule for the event, the institute is now inviting applications from interested candidates.

To be organised under the TIDE 2.0 scheme of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), the Hackathon event will also benefit emerging startups by providing financial and technical support.

Under the Hack and Reboot 2.0 event, participants will be required to choose one of the proposed problem statements listed on SIIC’s webpage or they can work on their own problem statements. The jury of the event will then review the entries after which the winners will be chosen.

The 1st position holder will get ₹7 lakh, the second prize will be worth ₹6 lakh, and the third winning team will be awarded ₹5 lakh. Furthermore, a prototyping fund will also be awarded to the selected solutions in the Healthcare and Clean Energy domains, under the TIDE 2.0 programme.
