The next phase of the Kanpur Metro Project will witness the construction of a 4-kilometre long underground line from Chunniganj to Nayaganj. Along this section, 4 underground stations will be established at Chunniganj, Naveen Market, Bada Chauraha and Nayaganj. In order to move ahead with the construction plans, alternate traffic routes would be chalked at all four locations and they would be functional for a period of around 2 years.
