In a bid to address challenges associated with the implementation of the new National Education Policy (NEP), a brainstorming session is to be held on July 8 and 9 at the Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University of Kanpur.
During the 2 day workshop, college faculties and teaching professionals of over 36 institutions will take part and discuss over the new elements included in the NEP. Furthermore, UP Chancellor and Governor Anandiben Patel will address the participants during the meeting at CSJMU Kanpur.
The responsibility for formulating the educational guidelines for schools and colleges lies within the jurisdiction of the National Education Policy, which has recently undergone revision this year. The revised policy incorporates substantial modifications with the objective of establishing India as a prominent global force in knowledge acquisition and dissemination.
In addition to NEP 2023, an inclusive strategy has been incorporated to elevate the state university's standing to a higher position in renowned evaluations. Some of such ranking lists include the National Institution Ranking Framework, QS Asia Ranking and QS Global Ranking.
During this meet at CSJMU, a comprehensive review report will be generated, encompassing all essential points for further deliberation. The findings of this report will serve as the basis for implementing improvements in the educational standards of state universities.
