The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rain in Kanpur on Saturday, June 29. The temperature in Kanpur has also decreased in the last few days and it is expected to drop further, after thunderstorm and rain on Saturday.
Notably, the amount of rainfall witnessed in June in Kanpur this year, has already broken a six-year record. With the monsoon taking a hold over the city, the numbers seem to increase by the end of June.
