With a total of 42 dengue cases reported in the past 24 hours, the city has now reported 30+ cases for the fifth time in a row. Following the intensive dengue spread, the hospitalization of patients has also spiked significantly.
The vehement onslaught of vector-borne disease has led to the overcrowding of not only government hospitals but also private ones in Lucknow.
Reportedly, on this Sunday, areas including Aliganj, NK Road and Silver Jubilee reported 5 cases each. Other cases were reported in Chander Nagar (4), Indira Nagar (4), Red Cross (4), Chinhat (4), Turiyaganj (4), Aishbagh (4) and Malihabad (3) areas of Lucknow.
Amid the continuous spread of dengue cases, other infections of flu, viral fever and typhoid are also on the rise in the city. Acknowledging the need for seamless assistance regarding the infections, the Lucknow administration has decided to use the Integrated Covid Command Centre (ICCC) helpline which will be available for the citizens 24x7.
The Lucknow city locals can seek help in case of emergency or submit their complaints regarding fogging/anti-larvae spraying operations on 0522-4523000 and can receive immediate assistance for the same.
