LU to get a green revamp!

In a what seems to be a major green revamp, the University of Lucknow will be getting a brand new attraction between the engineering and management faculty. This space will be developed as an ecologically-rich educational centre for the students, that will also play a pivotal role in saving groundwater resources, varsity officials said.

The layout for this project will be drafted by the state biodiversity board and the Science Faculty at the Univerisity. The nominal plan includes the plantations of flowering and fruiting trees, as recommended by the experts to attract distinct fauna, such as birds, insects, etc. The long-term vision, on the other hand, plans for the installations of a small butterfly park here as well.
