In a bid to encourage the participation of youngsters in environmental conservation, the Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) has decided to opt for an incentive-based model.

In an event held this Sunday, Municipal Commissioner Indrajit Singh announced that the corporation will be awarding LMC certificates to students in Lucknow who plant trees.

Notably, this new initiative ties into LMC's 'Har Ghar Hariyali' scheme, which is aimed at educating the populace about the several benefits of having greenery in their homes.
