Gear up to hear the Velociraptor roar & much more at Lucknow's first Dinosaur Park; open now

Jatin Shewaramani

Do you remember those weekends spent glued to the TV, watching the thrilling chase scenes of Jurassic Park? The dinosaurs, the groundbreaking CGI, the excitement—it all left a lasting impression. Well, guess what? Now you can experience that same excitement right here in Lucknow!

Lucknow’s very own Jurassic Park is officially open to the public, ready to take you on an adventure back in time.

Where's the Jurassic Park located?

Nestled within the sprawling 5-acre space of Janeshwar Mishra Park, this new attraction isn’t just about dinosaurs. It’s a creative marvel, blending art and sustainability! From towering dinosaurs made out of metal scraps to life-sized statues imported from Japan, each installation promises an experience that will transport you to a world millions of years old.

As you enter, you’ll be greeted by an impressive replica of the iconic Jurassic Park gate, topped by a massive Pterodactyl statue. And here’s the cool part—it flaps its wings and makes realistic sounds that transport you straight into the movie!

Up close with life-sized Dinosaurs & Ice Age creatures

Once inside, get ready to come face-to-face with roaring, moving statues of the Tyrannosaurus Rex, Velociraptor, Triceratops, and more. But that’s not all—Jurassic Park has taken it a step further by featuring statues of Ice Age creatures like the woolly mammoth and sabretooth tiger. And for fans of legendary monsters, you’ll spot Godzilla and King Kong towering over the park, adding an extra layer of thrill.

Adventure tunnel for kids (and the brave at heart!)

If you’re bringing kids along, they’re in for a special treat! The park features a tunnel designed specifically for children. As they crawl through, spatial sound speakers create the sensation of being chased by a dinosaur! Can they escape the roar of a Velociraptor? There’s only one way to find out!

Learn while you explore

Not only is this park a feast for the senses, but it’s also packed with educational content. Every statue features a plaque with fascinating facts about the dinosaur or creature you’re seeing, so kids (and curious adults) can learn about the Age of Dinosaurs, the Earth during that time, and what led to the extinction of these incredible beasts.

Grab a bite at the park cafe

After all that excitement, relax and refuel at the park’s cafeteria, which offers snacks and refreshments. Whether you’re there for a quick bite or to catch your breath after an adrenaline-packed adventure, it’s the perfect pit stop!

Ready for the ultimate dino adventure?

Crafted with a vision to excite and educate, this park is perfect for families, adventure-seekers, and anyone who still gets a thrill from the roar of a T-Rex. And don't forget to snap some Insta-worthy photos with your favourite dinosaurs!

The park is open from 10 AM to 9 PM on weekends and 9 AM to 9 PM Monday-Friday, so there’s plenty of time to dive into this prehistoric world. Just remember, entry requires a separate ticket, so be sure to grab yours when you arrive!
