Gomti SF Express, running between Lucknow and New Delhi will remain cancelled for a period of six days due to repair work of the railway flyover between Khurja and Sikandrabad Railway Station on the Ghaziabad-Tundla rail division. This is likely to cause great discomfort to travellers as summer vacation is about to end, resuming schools and new college sessions.
Train no. 12419, Lucknow-New Delhi Gomti SF Express starts from Lucknow (LKO) at 05:45 and reaches New Delhi (NDLS) at 15:00; and Train no. 12420, New Delhi-Lucknow Gomti SF Express starts from New Delhi at 12:30 and reaches Lucknow at 21:25 will remain cancelled on 2nd, 4th, 6th, 7th, 10th and 13th of July.
Besides this train no. 82501 Lucknow-New Delhi Tejas Express will run on a diverted route from Lucknow to New Delhi via the Muradabad-Gaziabad route. Similarly, Tejas Express starting from New Delhi will dispatch from New Delhi with a delay of 3 hours.
