Here's how Lucknow Zoo is shielding animals from extreme heat

Aditya Vikram

In response to the rising temperatures and heatwave, Lucknow Zoo has implemented measures to protect the animals. Up to 30 coolers have been installed in enclosures, and water sprinklers have been set up outside some enclosures.

Additionally, the zoo administration has modified the animals' diets. More fruits and vegetables have been added, and the quantity of meat for carnivorous animals has been reduced.

Furthermore, the animals are under constant observation by doctors to ensure swift treatment if needed.
