Craving a vada pav in Lucknow? Your options are kinda slim as it's difficult to find the popular Maharashtrian snack in the land of Nawabs! However, while strolling in the streets of Indira Nagar we stumbled upon a new joint, that serves vada pavs and pav bhaji, and we had to try!

Tucked away in the Sector 12 area the 'King Vada Pav' stall is getting some serious street cred among the folks around here. Here's why:

Aloo loaded, gingery goodness, wrapped in a pav!

Available every day from 5:30 PM, King Vada Pav stall boasts of a hygienic, no-fuss setup. With the arrangement of some portable stools, they even have arrangements for you to sit and enjoy your evening snack!

Talking about their vada pav, their aloo patty is rightly coated with besan, aptly spicy – not too bland, neither too overpowering, with a good kick of ginger. Adding a dash of North Indian twist, they mildly roast the pav in Amul butter. They further throw in accompanying condiments – pudhina chutney, khatti-meethi chutney, dry garlic powder, and a lone chili twig.

The whole deal is decently priced at just ₹25, while a plate of pav bhaji costs ₹75 and becomes a must-try for you!

Knock Knock

With an additional butter in bun step and a slight difference in taste, we surely cannot call it the authentic vada pav, however, its great taste makes it a must-try!

Their vada pav flies off the shelves as it's quite popular among the folks residing nearby. So in case you are planning to grab one make sure to swing by as soon as the stall opens up!
