Following three tiger reserves thriving in the Uttar Pradesh, the fourth one is slated to come up soon in Ranipur, located in Chitrakoot district. Replete with a panoramic green cover, the Ranipur Tiger Reserve will be the next wilderness paradise for nature lovers.
Defined by their lush greenery, vivid landscapes, a humongous variety of flora and fauna, wild animals and birds, adventures like jungle safaris, elephant rides, camping, and trekking — UP tiger reserves Amangarh, Dudhwa, and Pilibhit Tiger Reserves have enthralled visitors forever now.
With over 173 tigers, the state's tiger reserves are a great source of promulgating ecotourism.
"UP has tremendous potential to attract tourists in tiger reserves in the Terai belt as it is well-connected by road and the train network. The Terai area has a healthy tiger population which is growing over years," said the nature enthusiast Sanjay Kumar.
On the lines of the rest, the Ranipur Tiger Reserve will be the first sprouting in the Bundelkhand region of the state. The Ranipur Wildlife Sanctuary (RWS) will engulf this tiger haven, which till now did not see the Panthera population.
With chock-full tropical dry deciduous forests, nourishing wildlife, birds, and reptiles, the fourth TR will be fully decked to fascinate visitors. Look out for the magnificent tigers, leopards, deer, sloth bears, and so on, here at tiger reserve in Ranipur.
Spread over an area of approximately 529.36 sq km (with core area of 230.32 sq km and buffer area 299.05 sq km), the new tiger reserve is deemed to become the 53rd in the country.
