The Lucknow Traffic Police has announced a list of provisional diversions in the city on June 3, till 2 PM. These diversions will be put in place due to the Investors Summit, that will take place at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Gomti Nagar. As announced by DCP Traffic, Subhash Shakya, the new traffic order will be active in the city from 6 AM. Check out the full list here:
Vehicles will not be able to go to the new overbridge from the Digdiga crossing. A diversion via the Polytechnic Intersection from the Pickup Chauraha will be opened instead.
Similarly, the Pickup Chauraha road over the overbridge towards the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan will also be closed. Motorists on this route will be diverted towards Polytechnic Intersection.
Vehicles from Kathauta Lake Intersection will not be allowed towards Vijayipur Underpass, Indira Gandhi Pratashthan. Diversion via Chinhat Tiraha, Haniman Chauraha and Husadiya Chauraha will be channelled.
Motor vehicle from Summit Building tirah towards Vijayipur Underpass will also be suspended. Traffic will be diverted through Traffic Police Enclave Tiraha.
Vehicles from Bank of India Tiraha will not be allowed towards IGP. These will be diverted to the Police Enclave and Gomti Nagar station.
Movement of all transports from Cinepolis Underpass CII Office Tiraha to Vijaipur Underpass and service lanes will be prohibited.
The New High Court Turn, at the IGP intersection will also be closed. Vehicles have to reroute to Sushma Hospital, Polytechnic Chauraha or Kamta to reach their destination.
Vehicles moving towards Kamta Shaheed Path Tiraha to Viraj Tower, Vijayipur Underpass Service Road will be diverted to Polytechnic Square, Kathauta Lake.
Lucknow roads are likely to witness heavy traffic snarls on Friday. The Investors Summit will be attended by multiple VIP and VVIP dignitaries and officials, including the Prime Minister. PM Narendra Modi is expected to reach the city on Friday morning, at the La Martiniere Grounds.
Travellers are cautioned to plan their road trips accordingly and save themselves form getting stuck in traffic jams, amidst the scorching June heat.
