Knocksense Shorts | Admission process kicks off for 2nd session of Atal Residential Schools in UP

Providing quality education to children of registered construction workers and students who lost their parents to the COVID pandemic, Atal Residential Schools in UP are all set for their 2nd session. The admission process for the new session has already begun, with up to 280 students to be selected in each school, 140 each in Class 6th and Class 9th.

Admission tests will be conducted for Class 6th and Class 9th, for the 2024-25 academic session. Those applying for admission to Class 6th must be born before May 1, 2012 and after July 31, 2014. Those seeking admission into Class 9th, on the other hand, must be born before May 1, 2009 and July 31, 2011.

Furthermore, the children of construction workers will be eligible for the admission if their registration is complete by December 31, 2023. The construction workers must not have more than two eligible children. Children who have become orphans during the pandemic will be eligible only if they are registered with Women and Child Welfare Department.
