Providing a platform to budding sports enthusiasts of the city, Babu Banarasi Das Academy is preparing to host Lucknow District Badminton Championship from July 21 to 26. Youngsters between the age group of 11 to 19 can participate under two categories— singles and doubles. Another third category, mixed doubles is open for players between the age group of 14 to 19.

The above announcement was made by an official at Lucknow’s Badminton Association - Anil Dhyan. He further added that players who perform well at the competition will be reviewed for the district team.

Entry forms for the tournament will be available at BBD UP Academy Reception from July 10. Last date to submit entry forms is July 18, before 6 PM.
