Knocksense Shorts | Flyers travelling from Lucknow to Varanasi can now opt for a direct flight

The non-stop flight will take 1 hour 10 minutes to reach Varanasi's Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport from Lucknow's CCSIA.

People who are travelling from Lucknow to Varanasi will now have it easy and can save on time as IndiGo Airlines launch a direct flight between the two UP cities.

The non-stop flight will take approximately 1 hour 10 minutes to reach Varanasi's Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport Varanasi from Lucknow's Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport. And, 55 minutes to return from Varanasi to Lucknow. The first such flight is expected to depart on August 15 and the cost of the same is around ₹2,500.

As per IndiGo Airlines' timeline, this flight will run three times in a week, that is, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The flight take off timing is 2:20 PM, which will land at roughly 3:30 PM. Whereas, the return trip timings are 4:05 PM - 5 PM.

Both Lucknow and Varanasi are important destinations and while one is often called the golden city of the east, the other is famous for being the spiritual capital of the country.
