The countdown for the much-anticipated ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023 has begun, with matches set to kick off in India on October 5. The ICC World Cup trophy has now arrived in the city and is exhibited at the Ekana Stadium.

Notably, this will be the first time World Cup matches will occur in Lucknow. In the past, matches were held in Kanpur during the 1987 and 1996 events. The trophy will also be showcased in selected malls of the city on Saturday and Sunday. Additionally, the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow will witness 5 matches of the upcoming cricket world cup, promising an exciting cricket experience for city folks.
