Knocksense Shorts | KGMU Lucknow to expand Cardiology Department with 92 new ICU beds

In a bid to address the increasing overcrowding at the facility, the Cardiology Department at Lucknow's KGMU is all set for an upgrade. A total of 92 new ICU beds will be added, taking the number of beds at the department to 176 from 84.

This new building at KGMU's Cardiology Department, which will have the new ICU beds, is slated to become operational by October 2024. The new building will have a slew of other facilities like TMT machines, ECG machines, temporary pacemakers, and more.
