Lucknow's Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport (CCSIA) is expecting an increase in footfall during the upcoming summer holiday season. In a bid to cope with the surge in passenger influx, the total number of weekly flights will be augmented from 808 to 926, with a net increase of 118 flights.
Notably, the revised flight schedule, which includes the additional flights, has been implemented as of March 26 and will be in effect at the Lucknow Airport until October 28.
For the forthcoming summer schedule, additional flight operations will be provided to seven domestic destinations, namely Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kolkata, Indore, Delhi, Mopa in Goa and Ahmedabad. Moreover, three international destinations, namely Bangkok, Muscat, and Jeddah, will also have enhanced services.
To facilitate this, multiple airlines including IndiGo, Akasa Air, GoAir and Tata Group Airlines, will introduce supplementary flights to these destinations.
