A proposal for a brand new overbridge at Alambagh's Kesari Khera railway crossing has been prepared and sent to the Railways for approval. After the survey of the route and construction of the bridge is completed, it will be open for vehicular movement.

As per the proposal, the overbridge will be about 1 kilometer long and the project is estimated at some ₹50 crores. Thus, the budget, length, and design of the ROB is ready and work on the same will begin as a nod from the authorities is received. According to sources, the aforementioned ROB is a priority project in the list of new bridges.

The road over bridge (ROB), where fundamentally a road alignment crosses over the railway alignment, at Kesari Khera rail crossing was proposed by Uttar Pardesh Rajya Setu Nigam Ltd Government and recommended by the Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs, Kaushal Kishore.
