After strong winds brought down the temperature, Lucknow finally experienced rain and thunderstorms. Winds at speeds of 50-60 km/h lashed the city until the early hours of Thursday.

According to the meteorological department, residents can expect scattered showers and occasional thunderstorms in Lucknow on Friday.

However, the temperature is expected to rise again from Saturday, with mostly sunny skies predicted.
