The UP Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) has begun a citywide maintenance and repair operation today, resulting in prolonged power cuts in several areas of Lucknow.

Thus, the power supply is currently interrupted in the following areas:

• Maintenance work at the ITI substation in Vishnupuri Colony will cause power supply interruptions till 5 PM.

• Repair work on the 400 kVA transformer in the Nirala Nagar Substation will cause power disruptions till 5 PM, affecting the neighbouring areas, including Saran Das Mandir.

• In Daliganj, faulty wiring repairs in the Ahibaranpur, will keep the power supply interrupted till 4 PM.

• Additionally, maintenance at the Vidhan Sabha substation will result in power outages till 4 PM, impacting areas such as Model House, Cantt. Road, Burlington, and Nazarbagh.
