The Uttar Pradesh Cricket Authority (UPCA) will now hire a team of expert pitch curators at Lucknow's Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium.

The authority will appoint two specialists who will take care of the stadium. One of the experts will enhance the pitch, while the other professional will maintain the outfield to ensure foolproof playing conditions. For this, UPCA is seeking permission from other state cricket authorities.

Furthermore, the present pitch curator is being replaced by a new expert from Gwalior, Sanjeev Agarwal who will work on improving the pitch of the Ekana stadium in Lucknow for upcoming season of IPL.
