LDA gears up to enhance city's infrastructure; 47 beautification projects in pipeline for Lucknow

To enhance Lucknow's urban landscape and aesthetic charm, the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has allocated ₹38 crore under the Regional Infrastructure Fund. This investment will drive 47 ambitious development and beautification projects across the city, including:

  • Bronze statue of Arjun will be installed at Tikona Park, Arjunganj Crossing.

  • Lighting and water facilities will be upgraded in Nazul parks.

  • The authority will work on creating more space on the routes across Heritage corridor from Kaiserbagh to Chhota Imambara. Heritage signage and artistic wall paintings will be added to the stretch.

  • A new adventure zone will be developed at Janeshwar Mishra Park with attractions like go-karts, bull rides, water slides, mazes, toy trains, and kids’ areas.

  • Gomti Riverfront area will get a music system between Lohia Setu and Gandhi Setu.

  • Under the development initiatives, streetlights will be installed on the road near the police headquarters. A community centre will be constructed at Kila Mohammadi village near Aashiyana. Road and drainage improvements will be carried out in Alambagh, and road strengthening will take place in Jankipuram Extension.
