Gomti Nagar’s Musical Fountain Park, once a popular spot known for its synchronized fountain shows, is set to make a comeback. The park, which fell out of favour after the shows were discontinued three years ago, is now undergoing restoration led by the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA).

In a recent inspection, the LDA Vice Chairman visited the park near the 1090 intersection to assess the situation. He noted that with some basic clean-up efforts, such as clearing overgrown shrubbery, the park could quickly regain its appeal. Orders have been issued to complete the restoration within three days, with the aim of bringing the park back to its former status as a local favourite.

Beyond the park, the LDA is also focusing on beautification projects at the Samta Mulak and 1090 intersections. Additionally, the Gomti Riverfront will see further enhancement as part of a broader rejuvenation effort, with plans to proceed through a tender process.

With these initiatives in motion, the LDA is working to restore key landmarks and improve the overall look of the city.
