From Friday onwards, you will be able to enjoy movies at affordable rates in multiplexes operated by INOX and PVR. The tickets priced at ₹200-250 will now be available at ₹80-120 and the tariff for recliner seats has also been reduced. While the original price of this service ranges between ₹350 and ₹400, it will now be available by paying an amount of ₹180-200.
Lucknow encapsulates a total of 57 cinema halls and 12 multiplexes but only the INOX and PVR facilities are being reopened currently. Given a lack of new releases, only old movies will be screened as of now.

Ashish Aggarwal, the President of UP Cinema Exhibitors Federation, said that the cinema hall owners have to pull their shutters down by 9:30 in any case. Thus, the last show will be available at 8 PM on the weekdays till the night curfews are functional in the city.
While the reduced ticket rates would attract views and boost business on weekdays, the owners will have to bear losses due to the weekend lockdown and night curfews. It is a known fact that a large count of attendees showed up for the weekend and night shows during the usual times.
