Lucknow's Badshahnagar Railway Station will now be interlinked with the Badshahnagar Metro Station. This move will help the passengers save time and reach the station hassle-free, eliminating the need for any last mile-connectivity options.

Interlinking of the metro stations with Charbagh Railway Sation and CCS Airport, has resulted in huge footfalls, ever since the priority corridor got operational. And now, UPMRC aims to increase that number by connecting all the railway stations on the metro route to metro stations and offer the citizens more convenient travel.

Underground metro connectivity for Charbagh Railway Station

North Eastern Railway is yet to provide land to Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) to proceed with the interlinking process of the stations. Furthermore, Mr. Swadesh Singh, General Manager, UPMRC said, "North Eastern Railway and metro corporation will jointly work with each other to interlink metro and railway stations."

The Durgapuri Metro Station of the city also connects to the Lucknow NER railway station and a similar project of interlinking Charbagh metro station and Lucknow NR railway station through an underground route is also in plans.

After the implementation of interlinking project, railways and metro will also set up additional ticketing counters between the nodes to facilitate the passengers heading to either of the stations.
