The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has brought back a popular activity for the city's residents – boating at Janeshwar Mishra Park! After a long hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the serene waters of this lush park are once again welcoming boaters. So, whether you're looking to unwind with a peaceful row, enjoy some family fun, or just soak in the beauty of nature, it's time to grab your oars and set sail once more.

Here's a list of details you can keep handy before planning a visit:

  • The park will have paddle boats and battery-operated boats, with a total of 50 boats.

  • However, only 12 boats have become operational from Tuesday and the rest will be ready to use soon.

  • Each of the boats at Janeshwar Mishra Park will have the capacity of 4 people and each will be charged ₹50 for a 20-minute ride.

  • To enjoy boating, visitors can enter from Gate No. 6 of the park where a floating deck with boats has been constructed.
