The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has brought back a popular activity for the city’s residents – boating at Janeshwar Mishra Park! After a long hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the serene waters of this lush park are once again welcoming boaters. So, whether you’re looking to unwind with a peaceful row, enjoy some family fun, or just soak in the beauty of nature, it’s time to grab your oars and set sail once more.

The park will have paddle boats and battery-operated boats, with a total of 50 boats.

However, only 12 boats have become operational from Tuesday and the rest will be ready to use soon.

Each of the boats at Janeshwar Mishra Park will have the capacity of 4 people and each will be charged ₹50 for a 20-minute ride.

To enjoy boating, visitors can enter from Gate No. 6 of the park where a floating deck with boats has been constructed.
