Lucknow's Vijayant Khand Mini Stadium has been decked up for the World Group-II Davis Cup tie between India and Morocco teams. The PET scan facility in the Radiology department of KGMU Lucknow has been officially opened for patients. It was inaugurated in July this year and had been undergoing a trial period. Now, patients can avail themselves of PET scan services at KGMU for a nominal fee of ₹12,500, which is significantly lower than the charges at private diagnostic centers.
Construction of an overbridge on the Harauni-Jaantipur railway line along the Bani-Mohan route is now underway. As a result, vehicular traffic on this route will be prohibited for a duration of 6 months. During this period, large vehicles will not be able to travel from Kati Bagiya Tiraha to Narayanpur Tiraha in Lucknow District and Lakhpeda Tiraha in Unnao. Instead, they can make a U-turn at Junabganj turn directly from Kati Bagiya Tiraha to reach their destination via Unnao.
