Lucknow Super Giants snag Rishabh Pant at ₹27 crore; Player bids heartfelt goodbye to Delhi Capitals

Lucknow Super Giants outbid the Delhi Capitals 'Right to Match' card at the IPL 2025 mega auction on Sunday to bag the explosive wicket-keeper batsman, Rishabh Pant. Notably, DC tried to buy back Pant at 20.75 crore by using their 'right to match' card but LSG raised the bid to a whopping 27 crore.

With his new home in IPL 2025 decided, Rishabh Pant thanked the Delhi Capitals franchise and the fans. Notably, Pant spent 9 years in the franchise, reaching as far as the finals and having a couple of wonderful back-to-back seasons.
