Lucknow is currently under the spell of sweltering heat and high humidity, creating uncomfortable conditions for its residents. Throughout this week, the city has been grappling with maximum temperatures consistently reaching around 35°C. Coupled with humidity levels exceeding 70%, the evenings have become particularly oppressive, leaving many seeking refuge from the stifling weather.

Just a week ago, the atmosphere in Lucknow was markedly different, with pleasant temperatures, significant rainfall, and refreshing breezes providing a welcome reprieve from the heat. However, as the current humid spell settles in, residents are feeling the impact of the lack of rainfall and wind.

The good news is that relief may soon be on the way. The Meteorological Centre in Lucknow has announced that a rain spell is expected to return starting October 6. This anticipated rainfall could provide a much-needed respite from the ongoing heat and humidity.
