Touted to be one of the largest cricket stadiums in India, Lucknow's Ekana is all set to host the second ODI of the 3-match ODI series against South Africa. This will be the third international match that will be played in Lucknow's Ekana Stadium.
Starting from September 28, the South Africa tour of India will kick off with a T-20 match in Greenfield Stadium, Kerala. Other matches will be played in Indore, Ranchi and other areas.
As per the schedule announced by BCCI, the tour will consist of 3 T-20 matches and 3 ODIs at different locations in India. Lucknow's Ekana Stadium is equipped with modern amenities including, floodlights, and rain protectors and is capable of accommodating over 50,000 spectators.
Reportedly, BCCI is currently looking at Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium as a big cricket centre. Along those lines, the state authorities are planning to establish the Ekana Sports City, which will house practice pitches, a gym, heath centres, training academies and hostels.
The tickets for the 2nd ODI between South Africa and India are likely to be available online as well as offline.

1st T20: Trivandrum (28 September)
2nd T20: Guwahati (1 October)
3rd T20: Indore (3 October)
India vs South Africa ODI series
1st ODI: Ranchi (6 October)
2nd ODI: Lucknow (9 October)
3rd ODI: Delhi (11 October)
This will be the last T-20 series ahead of the ICC men's T-20 world cup that will be played from October 16 in Australia. According to BCCI, ahead of the India-South Africa series, India will host a 3-match T-20 series against Australia. Matches of the Australia tour of India will be played in Mohali, Nagpur and Hyderabad.
