Lucknow's KGMU doctor sets a new record by helping 50k patients through teleconsultation!

As the pandemic spread its venomous tentacles across the country, the healthcare workers united their best efforts to mitigate and minimalise its dangers. One amongst these spirited professionals, leading the battle from the forefront is Dr. Saniya Rauf from the prestigious King George Medical University in Lucknow. Having helped nearly 50,000 individuals through the government's eSanjeevani OPD facility, the doctor has made a national record of providing maximum teleconsultations!

Deployed in the telemedicine unit of KGMU, the doctor worked relentlessly through the pandemic, assuring quick relief to as many people as possible. Reportedly, she has been presented with the Flag Bearer Award by the Centre of Advanced Computing, Mohali for this remarkable achievement. As per reports, Dr. Rauf was honoured on the 33rd foundation day of CDAC, where she received the accord from the Niti Aayog member and Vice-Chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru University, V.K. Saraswat and executive director of CDAC, PK Khosla.

According to reports, the vice-chancellor of KGMU, Dr. Bipin Puri congratulated her for this accomplishment and expressed pride over the added feather to the institute's cap of glory. Further, she was also lauded by the in-charge of the telemedicine department, Dr. Sheetal Verma for bagging for this record.

As per reports, the head of the Respiratory medicine department at KGMU, Dr. Surya Kant Tripathi recently received the COVID leadership award from Lucknow Management Association. This acclaim was conferred upon him for his tireless efforts to fight against the pandemic by spreading awareness about the disease and the drugs amongst the common masses. Known for his energetic personality and simple yet efficacious demeanour, the doctor regularly participates in multiple panel discussions and primetime shows on different TV channels.
