Lucknow's SGPGI and BBAU join hands to launch new medical courses; check details

The said MoU will be effective for a 5-year period.

Lucknow's SGPGI (Sanjay Gandhi Post-Graduate Institute) has signed an MoU with the city's Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar University (BBAU), to launch new medical courses. These will include a total of 4 courses, focused on patient care, medical research, counselling and more. It is also noteworthy that the said MoU signed between the two institutions will be effective for a 5-year-period.

Which new courses will the two institutes launch jointly?

According to the MoU signed, SGPGI and BBAU will jointly launch the following medical courses:

  • Advanced Diploma in Transplant Coordinator Services Management

  • Advanced Diploma in Central Sterile Services Supply Services in Management

  • Advanced Diploma in Hospital Linen & Laundry Services Management

  • Advanced Diploma in Medical Record Services Management

As part of the MoU, both institutions will indulge in collaborative research, exchange programmes, academic visits, and providing professional care to medical trainees.
