When it comes to Indian football, very few matches carry the same weight as a Mohun Bagan vs East Bengal FC game. Known as the 'Kolkata Derby', every edition of this mouthwatering contest promises 90 minutes of intense footballing action.

And for the first time, this exciting football match will be played in Lucknow at the iconic KD Singh Babu Stadium. This will be an exhibition match, which has been scheduled to be played on September 2, 2024.

Match to be played under floodlights

Representatives from All India Football Federation (AIFF) have already inspected the ground and suggested changes. For this much-awaited game, the UP Sports Department is constructing a total of three dugouts and making the necessary renovations.
