It has been more than 3 months since the state stepped into the horrifying episode of the second wave of accelerated infections. Starting with weekend and night curfews, the state was gradually clamped under complete lockdown restrictions on May 1. After almost a 40-day period, the lockdown curbs were relaxed in the state, in the second week of June and the unlock interventions have amplified since then. Now, the cinema halls, multiplexes, gyms and stadiums are being reopened post a long-timed halt.
Amid anticipations of an impending third wave, it is important for the owners of all such facilities to make sure that the COVID safety protocols are sufficiently followed. As a part of this, all lags must be checked in time ensuring that no event leads to a revived spread of infections. Additionally, it is to be noted that weekend curfews shall be continued in the state.
