After the lockdown was uplifted on Wednesday, usual business revived across all major sectors in the city. While retail shops and markets opened throughout Lucknow, public transport facilities also resumed. Consequently, hordes of people were witnessed on the city roads after a long time. Amid these circumstances, it is important to acknowledge the need for necessary caution against the pandemic. Citizens must not forget that cases may accelerate again if COVID-appropriate behaviour is not followed.
In view of this, the LDA has stated that the visitors must adhere to all the guidelines and protocols while venturing out to the parks. Thereby, social distancing rules must be strictly followed and it is pertinent to carry masks and sanitisers every time you step out. If we assure steps at our individual levels, we can collectively prevent the anticipated third wave from wreaking havoc similar to what the second wave did.
