This year, the government is all geared up to boost ecotourism in the Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary and Dudhwa National Forest. Starting from Nov 15 onwards, they're throwing open the gates of these natural retreats added with some extra perks and amenities, to lure in more visitors.
The brand-new tourism circuit in the Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary will open for public on Nov 15. Meanwhile, at Dudhwa National Park, a wave of transformation is underway. The forest dept. has now added an international standard auditorium, a nature interpretation center and a facelift for the existing amenities, all curated to elevate the wilderness experience of the visitors.
The Dudhwa Tiger Conservation Foundation is making exploration even more enticing as they will be introducing new visiting and safari tariffs within the national park – more than a generous half-price reduction.

Home to a captivating array of wildlife, including gharials, rhinos, Gangetic dolphins, swamp deer, hispid hare, Bengal florican, as well as the White-backed and Long-billed vultures, the park is a true haven for nature enthusiasts.
Adding to its allure, the sanctuary's strategic connection to other prominent national parks results in a remarkably high rate of tiger sightings during jungle safaris.
Situated around 293 km from Kanpur, Dudhwa National Park sprawls across 490 sq. km. Overflowing with diverse wildlife, lush forests, expansive grasslands, and serene water bodies, it stands as an ideal retreat – a perfect spot for family picnics.
