After extending the initial orders of closure of all educational institutes in the state for several weeks, schools and colleges in the state are finally set to reopen from Monday. As per the order, educational institutes are directed to follow all the COVID protocols including masks and social distancing on the premises. In line with the SOPs, sanitisation of shared spaces in regular intervals is also mandatory on all campuses.

While schools in UP have been arguing against continuing the online classes for quite some time now, many parents had also voiced their opinions against these shutdowns. With cases of COVID coming down in the state, this move aims to facilitate students into getting back to their normal routine without compromising on their safety.
