Sidharth Malhotra to begin filming for Mission Majnu from Feb 12, at THESE spots in Lucknow

Making a comeback in Lucknow, actor Siddhart Malhotra will be seen shooting for his next, Mission Majnu, from the 12th of February. This upcoming film would also mark the debut of Rashmika Mandanna, who works predominantly in Telugu and Kannada-language films, in Bollywood. Earlier, Malhotra was spotted in the city for Jabariya Jodi, which was released in 2019 and now as per reports, the movie's shoot schedule will be spanning over 45 days.

Directed by Shantanu Bagchi and penned by Parveez Shaikh, this biographical war drama is based on true events of the '70s pertaining to India's covert operations in Pakistan, which were tagged as one of the key elements behind the relationship status between the two countries. Sidharth plays a Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) agent in the film and Kiara Advani will be seen on screen as the female lead.

The crew will be clocked filming at Hazratganj's Jahangirabad Palace, La Martiniere, Malihabad and also on the city roads. Reportedly, the team is already in the city and the formal shoot is set to commence on February 6 but Malhotra will be reaching the city a little later next week.
