Artefacts and weaponry tracing 5,000 years of Indian civilization

The new Indian Navy museum in Lucknow will house artefacts, missiles, torpedoes, and other equipment used in the iconic INS Gomati. But that's not it, the museum will also showcase naval forces dating back to ancient India and trace the evolution of weaponry and personnel of the Indian Naval Forces, over several centuries.

The museum will also showcase tales of valour of the Indian Navy, thus encouraging more and more youngsters to pursue a career in the naval forces. Furthermore, this repository of the rich Indian naval history will aim to boost Uttar Pradesh tourism while also enhancing the general public's understanding of the forces.
