With a motive to facilitate students and offer them modern amenities, the authorities at the University of Lucknow have now set ambitious goals to enhance the campus infrastructure.
As part of the modernization plans, the varsity is set to incorporate several new sections within its premises. These additions include a herbarium, a butterfly park, an Ayurvedic healing garden, a planetarium and a state-of-the-art auditorium.
Reportedly, LU has established a comprehensive timeframe comprising short-term, medium-term and long-term infrastructure objectives to be accomplished within the next 10 years. During the initial phase, which spans 0-3 years, the university aims to augment critical infrastructure elements. Subsequently, the mid-term goals will be fulfilled within 3-7 years.
In conjunction with the introduction of new infrastructure amenities, the University of Lucknow will embark on a series of enhancements to existing facilities.
This includes the modernization of pre-existing washrooms, the installation of sanitary pad machines and incinerators in female washrooms, upgrading the internet connectivity within the campus to ensure high-speed access to online resources and improving the waste management framework on campus.
