The final dates for commencement of Uttar Pradesh Board Examinations are out now and the exams for both high school and intermediate students will begin from February 16, 2023.
With this, more than 58 lakh students will be appearing for the UP Board exams 2023. Of the registered number, 31.2 lakh students are from class 10 and 27.5 lakh students from class 12 who have signed up for the boards.
The exams, that will take place at 8,752 centres across 75 UP districts, will conclude by March 4 i.e. before Holi.
In order to prevent any form of cheating or exchanging of sheets, the previously used stapled copies have been removed. Thus, this time, UP Board is slated to conduct copy-free exams. Herein, students will get stitched answer sheets, with barcodes and monograms embedded on them. Furthermore, sporadic checks of random answer sheets via the barcodes will ensure that no student is deceiving the system.
The examinations will be held in two slots, the morning timings 8 AM - 11:15 AM and the afternoon shift 2 PM - 5:15 PM. The UP Board exam dates, occurring over a period of 13-14 working days, are also not clashing with any major entrance exams.
The Minister of State for Secondary Education (Independent Charge) Gulab Devi has encouraged students to prepare for the examinations with consistency and hard work to earn good marks.
