With the Global Investors Summit just around the corner, the UP administration and other associated bodies have started working on the intermediate preparations for the orchestration of the event.
Regarding the same, a curtain-raiser ceremony for the summit was organized this Tuesday i.e. November 22, at the Sushma Swaraj Bhawan of the Pravasi Bharatiya Kendra in New Delhi.
The dedicated ceremony was held in New Delhi to welcome the investors for the forthcoming summit. During the ceremony, the UP government launched two important portals for the potential investors willing to invest during the summit. Furthermore, the logo for the UP Global Investors Summit 2023 was also unveiled during the event.
Reportedly, about 150 investors have already shown interest in investing through these portals in less than a week.
Notably, the state government has kicked off the promotional campaign for the summit, consisting of roadshows which will be organized in 15 different countries. The roadshows are to be held in Japan, Germany, Thailand, Mexico, South Africa, Brazil, Australia, France, Netherlands, Belgium, the UAE and Canada.
With this, the UP Industrial Development Minister and Public Works Department Minister will be touring Germany, Belgium and Sweden in Europe from December 9 to 14 to draw investors for the summit.
Along with other promotional campaigns, UP has also established a dedicated war room to manage and harmonize the progression activities for the summit.
These war rooms are being supervised by the central management wing i.e. the Invest UP organization. Other representatives from associates including Ernst & Young, Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) have also been appointed for the war room operations.
