The UP Global Investors Summit is set to be organized in Sector 15 of Vrindavan Yojna of Lucknow between Feb 10-12.

The much anticipated UP Global Investors Summit is scheduled to be organized in Sector 15 of Vrindavan Yojna area of Lucknow. Numerous nationwide dignitaries including the Indian Prime Minister, UP Chief Minister, prominent business leaders, and international delegates will attend the GIS meeting, resulting in widespread VVIP movement on various routes of the city.

Owing to this, the Police Commissionerate has now released a list of traffic restrictions and alternate routes that will remain in place in and around the Vrindavan Yojna area between February 10-12.

What are the major restrictions?

All kinds of vehicles inbound from various points of the Vrindavan Yojna area including the Sec.-11 (Badi pani tanki) intersection, Sec.-13 intersection, Sec.-14 intersection, Sec.-10 intersection, Sec.18 (New Trauma Centre) intersection, Sec. 15 (Sapna enclave) intersection, Sec.-9 (LDA apartment deserve) intersection towards the Sec.-15 UP GIS venue will be redirected to alternate routes.

  • Vehicles inbound from sector 11 can opt Sector 14–Sector 9–Gyaan Sarovar Canal Intersection route and can turn towards Kalindi park and then head towards their desired destination.

  • Vehicles inbound from sector 18 can opt for sector 19–sector 13 canal bridge–Utratia Railway station road–Utratia Crossing Shaheed Path Underpass route and then head right from Sector 7C intersection towards Telibag to reach their desired destination.

  • Similarly, vehicles inbound from Utratia Railway station/Sector 10 can opt the Sector 13 canal bridge–Utratia Railway station road–Utratia Crossing Shaheed Path Underpass route and then head right from Sector 7C intersection towards Telibag to reach their desired destination.

  • Vehicles inbound from Sector 18 (new trauma centre) can turn right and ply towards Sector 17 intersection–Awaas Vikaas Gate (Petrol Pum) route and then head towards PGI tiraha to reach their desired destination.

  • Similarly, vehicles inbound from Sector 15 (Sapna Enclave) can head towards Sector 18 (new trauma centre), turn right and ply towards Sector 17 intersection–Awaas Vikaas Gate (Petrol Pum) route and then head towards PGI tiraha to reach their desired destination.

  • Vehicles inbound from Sector 8 can head towards Vrindavan Yojna Shaheed Path underpass towards Amity International School towards Utratia Crossing Shaheed Path Underpass route and then turn right from Sector 7C intersection towards Telibag to reach their desired destination.

Other restrictions in nearby areas

Traffic movement between Sector 9 (Mama) Tiraha and Sector 10 intersection of Vrindavan Yojna will remain restricted.

  • Vehicles inbound from Sector 9 (LDA Apartment Deserve) and Mama Tiraha can head towards Chiraiyabag, Telibag or Gyaan Sarovar Bridge and then turn right towards Kalindi Park to reach their desired destination.

Vehicular movement between the Kalli Pashchim New Police Lines and Transit Hostel Intersection towards sector 18 & Sector 15 UP GIS venue will also remain restricted.

  • Vehicles inbound from Kalli Paschim New Police Lines can head towards Shiv Mandir Tiraha–CNG Pump–Himalayan Apartment–Sector 16 and then turn left towards PGI hospital and then head towards their desired destination

Vehicular movement between Amausi Airport and VIP route will also remain restricted. Vehicles can instead opt the commercial route to reach their desired destination.
