The state has also requested travellers from abroad to download the 'Mera Covid Kendra App' on their phone, in order to locate the nearest testing centre run by the government or contact the helpline-18001805145. As per reports, the government has also asked authorities to keep a check on the pricing of RT-PCR testing for COVID-19, charging not more than ₹700. In the case of the sample collection from home, a fee of ₹900 can be charged. The state will take action against private laboratories if found guilty of overcharging.
The government has also asked for spreading awareness of e-sanjivini app for online medication. The application has reached approximately 3 lakh downloads. Though the recovery rate of the state is pegged at 95.7%, one cannot simply be casual about it.
