Due to the lockdown induced by the first and second waves of the pandemic, the educational curriculum has been destabilised for more than 18 months now. While the schools are being reopened now, the officials have been ordered to ensure strict monitoring so that no lags lead to a revived acceleration in infections.
Currently, classes are being conducted for students of grades 9 to 12 under two shifts with 50% attendance in each batch. As per reports, the first slot is scheduled from 8 AM to 12 noon while the second batch is conducted from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

Reportedly, the schools have been asked to maintain ample availability of sanitisers, thermal check systems and other essential resources to mitigate the possible spread of contagion. In addition to this, students and teachers have to be regularly checked for symptoms. In case signs of an infection are noticed, the individual will be quickly sent back home. Further, the school authorities will make sure that the masking protocol is followed meticulously at all times.
